I hope everyone had a fantastic Easter weekend.  I enjoyed the time off from my day job, and the chance to get together with some extended family.  Those events never seem to happen quite often enough, and with several little ones around now, it’s fascinating to see how they have grown since the last holiday meal.

I got to spend my holiday Monday getting some things done.  First up, I got to visit a new store in town.  Roy Sims Display is in the east end of the city, and they have, as you might imagine, quite a good selection of display materials.  They were extremely helpful, giving suggestions and helpful tips, and even so far as to letting me put some items in my car to make sure they fit before I bought them.  I was very happy to give them my business, and came away with some grid wall panels that will be added to my show displays.

I hit up a few more stores (as well as a sushi place for lunch) and picked up some more items to make some DIY displays.  Once my tablecloths come in, I’ll be wrapping some nesting boxes in matching fabric and they’ll be perfect for displaying tiaras, headbands, and other hair accessories.  I really can’t wait to set up and see how it all looks together!  My new table display, complete with the grid walls, will be making its debut at the MAC Fair: BLOOM, coming up on May 10th.  I’ll be breaking out the new canopy on May 25th at Ravenswing.  Come by and see it for yourself!
