100 Day Challenge: Day 94. Grey and white pearl bracelet.

Digging through my mixed bag of random pearls, I was able to find a few that matched.  I wanted to use them together, so they became the focus of this pretty bracelet.  All these pearls are freshwater cultured pearls, in a mix of light and dark grey, and white. The darker grey pearls are slightly irridescent, with shades of blue and green.   The lobster clasp and hardware are all silver-filled.

100 Day Challenge: Day 87. Citrine teardrop necklace with freshwater pearls.

I bought a couple strands of white freshwater pearls online back in the winter, and hadn’t found the right project for them until now.  After the MAC Fair on Saturday, I realized that I have a LOT of items in blues and greens, and not so many in the warmer colours.  These pearls seemed like a good place to start, and I paired them with some hand-carved citrine teardrops.  I don’t wear a lot of yellow, but I do love pairing citrines with warm browns and reds, and this necklace will be very versatile.
