Hooray, I’m at day 20 of the 100 Day Challenge!  1/5 of the way there.  To recap, each day I’ll be making a new item, using only materials that I already have on hand.  I’ll do this each day for 100 days, no breaks.  The goal is to use items that I’ve had sitting around for a while, because I am a bit of a magpie.  It is also pushing my creativity, to come up with something different each day.

I seem to have accumulated a lot of crystal in my stash.  Most of it comes from a local bead shop, Rainbow Minerals, including the crystals I’ve been working with over the past few days.  Today’s project continues with Preciosa crystals, this time in a sparkly purple hair clip.  I’ve made a few hair accessories, and these alligator clips are easy to work with and easy to use.  I bought a big bag of them about a year ago, and am having a great time using them.  I’ve got a commission coming up to make some with just pearls, so stay tuned for those as well.  -Robyn
