I love when I rediscover beads that I’ve had for ages and ages.  The glass beads I’ve used in today’s project have been in my stash for years.  I got them locally in the first year that I started beading, drawn to the mottled teal colour and the splashes of gold.  I used them in earrings and a bracelet, and they both sold ages ago.  I had a handful of the beads left over, and I didn’t have any ideas on how I wanted to use them.  So, they hung out in an organizer, looking awesome and waiting to be used.

I decided to make a bracelet with them, so I put them on a bunch of head pins and turned them into a fringe on a chain, like a charm bracelet.  They’re swingy and fun, and I think that putting them on a silver chain makes the gold on the beads really pop.  I have a couple more left over, so I may just do some earrings to match tomorrow.
