Happy birthday to me! I can’t believe I’m already at the halfway point of the Challenge. For those who haven’t gone back through all the posts to the beginning, here’s what I’m up to: the 100 Day Challenge is a personal goal I set, to make a new item each day for 100 days. I will photograph and blog about each piece, and I can only use items that I already have in my stash. This will accomplish a few things: 1) get me ready for my upcoming spring shows, the MAC Fair and Ravenswing; 2) go through my stash and use up beads that I’ve been hoarding for “just that perfect design”; and 3) help clear some room in my crafting space, and help me get the mess under control.
To use up my remaining onyx coins, I chose to make another necklace but in a different design. This one uses black onyx rounds as well, filling out most of the necklace in black and turning the silver into an accent colour. There is a small amount of silver filled chain at the back, as well as a lobster clasp.
