Moving back to gemstones again, today’s project started with a quartet of carved bone beads that I’ve had for ages and ages. I think I picked them up at the Gem and Mineral show three years ago, but I’m not 100% sure. They have little flowers carved into them, and the back of the beads are slightly curved, making them absolutely perfect for a bracelet. They’re double-drilled, so I browsed through my gemstones to find something that would be a good size to put with them that would sit nicely and balance the size of the bone beads. I settled on some 8mm peach aventurine rounds, and included some little copper accent beads. The toggle clasp is bright copper and has a twisted look to it. I feel like this will be a great summer piece!
